7.1.2 Secure Site Instruction regarding installation works to be done.
7.1.3 Prepare all tools and equipment needed.
7.1.4 Provide access scaffoldings if required.

8.0 INSTALLATION WORKS

8.1 All Anchor bolts subject to uplift or vibration shall be equipped with an addition nut to serve as a lock nut to ensure against loosening. refer to (SAES-Q-005 sect. 4.8. 7)
8.2 For thus anchor bolts of steel structure were short and not meet the requirements of AISC code of standard practice for steel buildings and bridges, thus additional nut cannot be installed.

8.3 With regards to the site condition and for thus anchor bolts were not meet the required projection with a minimum of two (2) thread; therefore, Jam Nuts shall be installed with a minimum thickness of 10mm, please refer to ASME B18.2.2-2015 page 8 Table-4, but, if the minimum of 10mm thickness of Jam nut were installed and the projection less than 2 tread and more shorten, we will apply the other optioned showing in Method-A Anchor bolts were not meet the required 2- thread bolt projection to be install with Jam Nuts with a minimum of 10mm thickness., Method-B with the further evaluation of the actual support reaction of foundation at Grid N1-2, it was found that washer plate may be neglected. Thus, ordinary washer plate (t=2-4mm) shall be installed instead of the thickened washer plate (t=12mm) and Method-C Anchor bolts were short and not meet the required of 2-thread bolt projection and more, the padding shall be installed down from the required elevation on the drawing to meet the required bolt projection, and shim shall be installed at the bottom of pipe shoe and equipment., and approved by DEC/JGC Engineering Department unless otherwise specified on field change sheet.

9.0 QUALITY CONTROL

9.1 QC inspector will be assigned to attend to the quality control assurance of this work.
