Calibration of level transmitter of Direct mount and single system
This type of transmitter can be used for open or vented to atmospheric type tank applications.
Following is calibration data for level transmitter of Direct mount and single system.
We have following information for LT Transmitter and diagram showing process
Process data:
Density = 900 kg/m³
H – L = Nozzle Distance(mm)= 7600 mm
Capillary Density = 1090kg/m³
Temp(°C)=Ambient temperature
Pressure = ATM kgf/cm²G
Nozzle level
Nozzle Low (mm) = 200 mm
Nozzle High (mm) = 7800 mm
LT Location(Below Low Nozzle)= 0
Following formula can be used to calculate LRV and URV
Finding LRV of level transmitter of Direct mount
Low range value = LT Location * Capillary Density / 1000
= 0*1090/1000
=0
Finding URV of level transmitter of Direct mount
Upper range value = (Nozzle Distance * Fluid Density / 1000) + (LT Location * Capillary Density / 1000)
=(7600*900/1000)+(0*1090/1000)
=6840
To Calibrate properly please use the following ranges for Direct mount and single seal system Level transmitter.
LRV = 0% = 0 mmH2O
URV = 100% =6840 mmH2O
SPAN = 6840 mmH2O
