Fire Heater Erection sequence for Plants and Refineries

1. Erection of Radiant Section

A) Set of 0 deg. or 180 deg. side panels

1) Refractory lining (Ceramic fiber bracket) for panels to be installed on the ground.
2) Panels with lining to be set on the foundation.

B) Set of 90 deg. and 270 deg. side panels

1) Refractory lining (Ceramic fiber bracket) for panels to be installed on the ground.
2) 2 panels of column span to be pre-assembled on the ground.
3) Panels with lining to be set on the foundation.

C) Floor support columns to be installed.

D) Installation of Floor panels.

E) Set of Remaining 0 deg. or 180 deg. side panels.

1) Refractory lining (Ceramic fiber bracket) for panels to be installed on the ground. Panels with lining to be set on the foundation.

F) Installation of coils with Temporary coil support.
G) Installation of Arch panels.

H) Installation of the foxing pin for Coil support.

I)  Remove Temporary coil support.

2. Erection of Flue Gas duct

A) Duct panels to be assembled on the ground.
B) Refractory lining (Ceramic fiber bracket) for ducts to be installed on the ground.
C) Set on the Radiant arch.

3. Erection of Convection bottom structure (EL+ 116900-EL + 119900)

A) Steel structure parts to be Installed.

4. Erection of Convection Modules for A & B Convection section A & B

A) Lower Convection Module to be installed.

B) Upper Convection Module (with Breeching section) to be Installed.

5. Erection of Stack Support structure (EL +26670-EL +33750)

A) All support columns and support beams (EL+26670-EL+30135) to be Installed.

B) Flue gas duct for Convection section A & B to be installed.

1) Three(3) Flue gas duct blocks to be pre-assembled on the ground.
2) Pre-assembled Flue gas duct to be set on convection top.

C) Stack bottom duct to be set on EL +27574 structure.

D) Steel structure parts until EL +33750 to be Installed.

6. Erection of Stack

A) Lower Stack to be installed.

1) Two(2) stack blocks and Damper unit to be pre-assembled by welding on the ground.
2) Pre-assembled Lower stack to be set on stack support structure.

B) Upper Stack to be installed.

7. Erection of Radiant Outlet Header & Cross-over piping

A) Radiant Outlet Header to be set on Header Support at Radiant arch.
B) Connection piping between Radiant outlet and Header to be welded.
C) Cross-over piping between Convection outlet and Radiant inlet to be welded.

8. Erection of Burner and others

A)Burner & Burner tile to be installed.
B) Refractory lining (Castable) for floor to be installed.
C} Piping support to be installed at each specified positions.
