- DRAWING DESCRIPTION
Note: All drawings shall be to scale and shall include the following information for each drawing type as follows.
4.1 Instrument Key Plan
4.1.1 Overall site plan with major equipment and related coordinates identified.
4.1.2 Package drawing list index with associated plant areas identified on site plan.
4.1.3 General notes and legend.
4.2 Instrument Location Plans
4.2.1 Area drawings of major equipment (pipe routing, pipe support, and major foundations located).
4.2.2 Field installed instrument located with tubing hookup and mounting details referenced.
4.2.3 All in-line instrumentation, such as control valves and flow elements that have field tubing connections, shall be identified with a tag number and a hookup detail reference.
4.2.4 Instrument tap locations identified with block valve tag number, elevation, and tubing hookup reference.

4.2.5 Instrument air supply valve tag number identified with approximate location, elevation, and hookup reference.
4.2.6 Control/analyzer building layout showing analyzer panel(s) and calibration gases located with related tubing hookup details.
4.2.7 Analyzer calibration gas chart and bottle rack detail listing all calibration gases with associated regulator/manifold assembly, analysis gas, related tubing hookup detail, and dimensional
detail of gas bottle rack.
4.2.8 Miscellaneous details (as required) showing all items such as building bulkhead plates, tubing junction boxes, instrument stands/rack or other supports which might not exist in the standard field instrument support package.
- ADDITIONAL DESIGN CRITERIA
5.1 All controllers related to LOX and LIN backup systems shall be as close as possible to each other for easy access during operation. During the design of the storage area, instrument designers shall coordinate the placement of these instruments with the startup personnel assigned to the project.
5.2 Instruments having no tubing connections (for example, a temperature transmitter) may be located on the location plan for mounting purposes only.
