16.1   Ceiling Diffusers

16.1.1  Round, square and perforated face made of extruded aluminum.

16.1.2  Finish Coating: natural anodized aluminum finish basis color white. Volume damper finish coating black color.

16.2   Grilles and Diffusers

16.2.1  Frame and blades made of extruded aluminum.Adjustable blades

16.2.2  Finish Coating: natural anodized aluminum finish basis color white. Volume damper finish coating black color

16.3   Slot Diffusers

16.3.1  Frame and blades made of extruded aluminum.

16.3.2  Finish Coating: natural anodized aluminum finish basis color white. Volume damper finish coating black color

16.3.3  Minimum two air deflectors in each slot

16.3.4  Plenum box: galvanized steel sheet GA. 24 acoustically lining density of 48 kg / m3

16.4   Bar Grilles

16.4.1  Frame and blades made of extruded aluminum.

16.4.2  Finish Coating: natural anodized aluminum finish basis color white. Volume damper finish coating black color

16.4.3  Plenum box: galvanized steel sheet GA. 24 acoustically lining density of 48 kg / m3

16.5   Duct Grille

16.5.1  Grille aluminum and damper blade electro-galvanized steel.

16.5.2  Finish Coating: Powder coated

16.6   Nozzles

16.6.1  The face cover and the nozzle are made of aluminum natural anodized aluminum finish.

16.7   Execution

16.7.1  Application:

      • Units shall be rated in accordance with ASHRAE 70.
      • Air outlet application shall be based on space noise level of NC 35 maximum generally, NC 25 maximum in conference rooms.
      • Outlets shall be provided with sponge rubber seal around edg
      • Baffles shall be provided to direct air away from walls, columns, or other obstructions within radius of diffuser operation.
      • Plaster frames shall be provided for diffusers located in plaster surfaces.
      • Lay-in type frames shall be provided for diffusers in lay-in ceiling.

16.7.2  Installation:

      • Air outlets and inlets shall be installed in accordance with manufacturer’s printed instructions.
      • Air outlets and inlets connected to ductwork shall be installed with an airtight connection and to allow service and maintenance of dampers, air extractors and fire dampers.
      • Ductwork visible behind air outlets and inlets shall be painted matt black.
      • Exposed surfaces shall be cleaned after installation to remove burrs, dirt and smudges.
