ACI Standards

ACI stands for American Concrete Institute. Standardization is the most rigorous consensus process used by ACI. ACI standards are written in necessary languages. ACI Standards have two typically types – design codes and construction specifications.

Design Codes

ACI Design standards and codes are not for constructions persons but only design team.

ACI design codes include, code requirements, code cases, acceptance criteria, and design specifications.

Construction Specifications

ACI construction specifications are written for the Building developer, construction contractors, testing companies, and construction team, not the design professional. ACI specifications include both construction and material specifications.

Construction materials and specifications are included in ACI construction specification.
