Installation Of Backbone Connecting Hardware | Telecommunication Design
- Verify that connecting hardware used for backbone cable connections meet the requirements for reliability, safety, and transmission performance specified in:
• EIA TIA-568A
• EIA TIA-70″ - Verify that suitable passive and active devices are used to interconnect two or more portions of the backbone wiring system.
- Verify that sufficient space for installation of patch panels and cross-connect blocks is provided at the TC and they are properly installed.
- Verify that connector ratings are of same category ( Category 6) as the cable that is selected.
