JOB DESCRIPTION

HAZARD

PREVENTIVE MEASURES

HVAC Ducting 1. Working with Ducts and Sealants
2. Duct sheet sharp edges contact with Machine or Equipment.
• Only Skilled technicians & trained laborers shall do the job.
• Prior to work, Foreman/Supervisor shall conduct toolbox meeting & T.S.T.I
• Competent Foreman/Supervisor with good safety knowledge shall be deputed for the task.
• Safety Officer shall frequently monitor the job. Workers should wear complete required PPE.
• All hand tools shall be in aood condition.
Scaffolding installations 1. Structure Collapse
2. Fall Injury
3. Equipment/Property Damage
• Erection and assembly shall be done by trained and authorized person.
• Erection to be carried out on firm/safe ground with acceptable materials by experienced men under the direction of a competent supervisor.
• Scaffolding shall be Inspected & Tagged.
Sanitation & House keeping 1. Hazard Environment
2. Infection
• Safe means of getting in and out from working places shall be provided. Such places shall be kept clean and unobstructed at all times.
• Access to working platforms will be achieved by providing a separate ladder/ tower or via a cantilevered access platform in order not to obstruct the working platform and to minimize the risk of persons falling through the gap in the guard rail or decking. 
• Necessary periodic inspections shall be carried out to ensure safety standards are adhered.
• Working to be checked for safety standards before levels conformance to their usage.
Leak Test Accidental air/ Water blast. • Prior to leak tests the test pressure shall be conformed and all joints shall be checked for leaks.
• Put barricade and signage’s of that area,  under testing and needs to assign Watchman also.
Insulation Personnel Injury  • All power tools to be handled carefully to avoid personal injuries. Wherever possible safeguards shall be fitted to the equipment.
• Only trained & certified operators to use power tools.
• All power Tools must be Inspected & Color coded monthly as per Aramco Procedure.
