Page/Party Speaker Cable Materials Inspection Checklist

Received materials have been inspected for damage and for compliance to applicable requirements.
Verify material storage and Protection is as per Manufacturer’s Recommendation.
Verify that the received materials are new and unused.
Verify that cable and accessories are in accordance with the Saudi Aramco-approved project-specific design drawings, diagrams, schedules, lists, databases, and associated design documents
Verify that the received material comply with the project PO specification and shall conform to all applicable requirements, standards, and specifications prior to release to be used as part of the work.
Verify that received cables is UL listed for indoor and outdoor applications. Cables installed within a building shall be listed as being resistant to the spread of fire in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) Article 800-50 and Article 800-51.
Verify that the outer jacket of the cables is made of hard service, flame retardant and moisture and ultraviolet resistant material to provide protection from oil, chemical, mechanical and other environmental abuse.
For outdoor storage, verify that firm support for storage of reels is provided. If possible reels to be stored indoors on a hard dry surface.
Verify that cable reels in outdoor locations are supported off the ground and provided with a weatherproof cover.
Verify Equipment and materials identification procedure is implemented for the received items.
Ensure that equipment and accessories shall be traceable from the manufacturer and supplier through delivery, storage, fabrication, erection, installation, repair, modification and use.
