Verify that a minimum of three 100 mm ( 4 in.) sleeves or conduits are provided for the backbone pathways during the construction of the TC.
Verify that conduits and slots/sleeves systems is located in places where pulling and termination can be accomplished safely and without damaging cable.
Verify that sleeves are constructed with a minimum diameter of 10 cm (4″) and slots with a minimum opening of 16 cm (6″) by 23 cm (9″).
Verify that sleeves or slots are positioned adjacent to a wall on which the backbone cables can be supported and shall not be placed in such a manner as to obstruct wall termination space or areas for monitoring cable splice cases.
Ensure that slots/sleeves are not located more than 5 cm (2 in) from the wall.
Ensure that sleeves or slots are not placed above or below wall spaces areas that are to be used for termination fields.
Verify that the minimum number of 10cm (4 in.) floor sleeves that are required to serve a facility
Verify that structural changes and floor penetrations shall be accomplished in accordance with SAES-M-100 (Saudi Aramco Building Code)
Verify that vertical ladder racks are placed on the wall at each opening (slot or sleeve) to provide support for cabling and splice cases.
