Surge Control System Commissioning Checklist
Following are commissioning checklist points for Surge control system.
- Installed as per piping, instrument and electrical.
- Air supplies:
- Provided
- Blown down
- Set at required pressure
- Shutoff provided
- Power supplies connected.
- Transmitters calibrated.
- All signal modifiers calibrated.
- Signals injected, flow computation verified.
- Signal injected, antisurge line computation verified.
- Controller set at 50% with 100% PB input varied 100% output correct.
- Valve responds.
- Scales correct.
- Control line set to graph attached.
- Vent/bypass control valve fully strokes – 2 seconds.
- Local panel gauges and manual override correctly operable.
