Followings are commissioning checklist points for Thermocouples and RTDs.
- Verify per specification sheet.
- Make sure all Tagging correct.
- Verify Correct location in vessel or line.
- Correct Thermo/Couples and lead wire material.
- T/C tip checked for grounding.
- Lead wire disconnected at both ends and checked for polarity.
- Make sure, Continuity checked wire/wire and wire/ground.
- Signal injected from field. Correct instrument and point number respond in control room.
- Sufficient immersion depth. Element/well.
- RTD resistance lead connection correct.
Thermometers and Wells Commissioning Checklist
- Verified per specification sheet.
- Correct location and line.
- Can be read from nearest access or control point.
- Accessible for maintenance.
- Sufficient immersion depth. Element/well.
- Cleaned for oxygen service.
