Copper Cable Accessories Materials Selection and Receiving Checklist
- Received equipment and materials have been inspected for damages and for compliance to the requirements of the approved PO.
- Verify equipment and material handling, storage and preservation is as specified in all applicable specifications, manufacturer recommendations and SAUDI ARAMCO’s standards.
- Verify all equipment and components received comply with the project PO specification and shall conform to all applicable requirements, standards, and specifications prior to release to be used as part of the work
- Verify that the received materials are new and unused.
- Verify that material and accessories are in accordance with the Saudi Aramco-approved project-specific design drawings, diagrams, schedules, lists, databases, and associated design documents
- Verify the type, size and quantity of received cable splice closures as per the PO.
- Verify the type, size and quantity of received Tag Boards for Cable Splicing as per the PO.
- Verify the type, size and quantity of the received UR, UG and UY splicing connectors.
- Verify the type, size and quantity of the received Cable Splicing A-MP VS-3 Connector for cable splicing as per the PO.
- Verify the type, size and quantity of the received Terminal Housing (Utility Products) Types GHC-6 and GHC-8 – for Splicing and Terminating as per the PO.
- Verify the type and quantity of lubricants that is specifically approved by Saudi Aramco that will be used during the cable pulling operation.
- Verify equipment and materials identification procedure is implemented for the received items.
- Ensure that equipment and accessories shall be traceable from the manufacturer and supplier through delivery, storage, fabrication, erection, installation, repair, modification and use.
