OSP Circuits – Pedestal and Accessories Material Receiving Inspection

  1. Verify Received materials have been inspected for damage and for compliance to applicable requirements.
  2. Verify Storage and Protection for the received material is as per Manufacturer’s Recommendation.
  3. Verify the received material comply with the project PO specification and shall conform to all applicable requirements, standards, and specifications prior to release to be used as part of the work
  4. Verify and ensure the communication pedestal components contains as follows:
    1. Clamp for ground rod UL listed for direct buried.
    2. A minimum of #6 AWG tinned solid copper wire for grounding.
    3. 5/8” diameter x 8 feet ground rod.
    4. Stake steel for mounting.
    5. Bracket splice support”
  5. Verify that the received materials are new and unused.
  6. Verify that material and accessories are in accordance with the Saudi Aramco-approved project-specific design drawings, diagrams, schedules, lists, databases, and associated design documents
  7. Verify Equipment and materials identification procedure is implemented for the received items.
  8. Ensure that equipment and accessories shall be traceable from the manufacturer and supplier through delivery, storage, fabrication, erection, installation, repair, modification and use.
